“Kuning”





"Kuning" is one of the singles from the album Sinestesia, the third album belongs to the trio pop Efek Rumah Kaca (ERK). Songs that convey messages about diversity and religion.

Departing from the restlessness about the social phenomenon that has happened in the society lately, which is very easy to divide with the issues of religion. Maybe that's what lighter the song "Kuning" is born. The song that reminds me is not easily fished by the potlican glass, which uses the issues of Religion as its shield.

Efek Rumah Kaca is known as a band that always voiced social criticism in every work. Included in this song "Kuning". A song that managed to open my eyes, that true to religion it must be able to accept diversity, by not rejecting the difference. As a human I do not have the capacity to reject the difference, which is the true God who created it.

How can I forbid over something He created. The difference is not to be prohibited or eliminated, but must be processed in such a way that can be realized a harmony. Because God does not belong to one Religion or group, but God belongs to anyone, and what He created. And as a human being, I am appointed to be the leader of all that He created.

I really like this song, this song is my moodboster. Somehow his instrument and as usual, chiril distinctive voice of the vocalist cholil mahmud make me instantly become quiet. 5 stars for this song. A song with a duration of 12 minutes, I was made confused. Read the lyrics, understand the meaning and like taken somewhere, but that's the aesthetics of the song "Kuning".
